What is ear reshaping?

Ear reshaping, or otoplasty, is a surgical procedure to alter the shape of the ear. Otoplasty can be performed in both adults and children. The operation is most commonly performed to correct excessive prominence or “sticking out” of the ears.

Is ear reshaping right for me?

It may be a good option if you feel your ears are too large, stick out too much or are not symmetrical (one ear is different from the other).

Potential complications

All surgery comes with some degree of risk. For example, bleeding and infection are possible. Significant complications following ear reshaping are usually infrequent. Don’t worry,  Dr Vij will fully explain potential complications during the consultation process and will commit to supporting you during your recovery period.
